The doughty standard back box range has been devised to streamline the installation process, by providing a top quality off-the-shelf alternative to bespoke built facility panels.
In most installations, the back boxes housing facilities are required early on in the process which allows very little time to finalise production drawings and to fabricate the boxes. By utilising a range of standard boxes the lead times for supply are decreased, and the economies of scale from volume production allow costs to be reduced. Our standard Range is manufactured in-house to the same exacting standards as our bespoke boxes so there is no reduction in quality or sturdiness traditionally associated with some stock alternatives.
Back boxes may be specified with a number of standard faceplates, incorporating a range of connectors or bespoke panels may be produced to suit particular requirements. To assist with choosing the correct back box for each application, we have devised a layout grid so connectors may be properly configured allowing space for engraving and sufficient room for their operation.
The standard back box range is designed to maximise the possible applications for each box. All of the standard range may be used in vertical or horizontal orientation, and may be hinged or unhinged using a hinge adapter flange. Boxes may house power or signal or both, and may be fitted with segregation plates for such applications.
