Acousti Panel for Ceiling (APC) is fabric or vinyl-covered, sound-absorbing ceiling panels. Durability, high sound absorption, and a variety of appearances make APC a good choice for acoustically treating ceilings. APC has a single 6 to 7 pcf fiberglass core and can be installed in a variety of ceiling conditions, including lay-in grids, mechanically clipped to drywall or framing and painted pucks. The sound absorption levels shown below represent APC attached to drywall. APC installed in lay-in grids will have a higher NRC. Typical applications for APC include band rooms, auditoriums, churches and spaces that require high NRC levels from the ceiling.
