This HDMI balun kit is designed especially for commercial and residential applications where long CAT6/STP cable runs are impeding digital video signal transmission. KD-CATHD500 now offers runs of up to 400ft. on 1080p/60 using our FatCat Series™ model KD-CAT6STP1X CAT6 STP cabling solution. The KD-CATHD500 is also equipped with ethernet ports to pass streaming online media to displays, and the transmit ends of both models offer a built in HDMI pass through – the first of its kind. Key Digital’s first ever HDBaseT balun kit also offers bi-directional and simultaneous control features; further proving the versatility of the FatCat Series™ family of HDMI baluns. The KD-CATHD500 are one of the first balun kits to have an EDID control built in which ensures a proper handshake between HDMI devices every time.
