Kenyon Page joins AMX as AMX University Manager & Product Specialist

Thursday, 4 August 2011 – AMX Australia & New Zealand is pleased to announce the addition of Kenyon Page to the AMX team in the role of AMX University Manager & Product Specialist.

AMX Training was one of the first scheduled & accredited manufacturer training programs offered in Australia with the first courses in Queensland in 1997. Since that time, hundreds have attended what is now AMX University courses covering topics as diverse as programming, installation, system design and more. Today, AMXU alumni are in leadership roles in many of the organisations that make up our industry and here at AMX we are quietly proud of the contribution we have made through AMX University.

Kenyon Page leads AMX University in Australia & New Zealand, responsible for overseeing and in many cases delivering AMX University and ACE Certification courses at the dedicated AMXU facility Gold Coast head office and major centres including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth plus Auckland & Wellington in New Zealand. In addition, Kenyon has extensive Product Specialist responsibilities including evaluating, supporting and presenting new products at our AMX events throughout the year.

Like so many of the AMXAUNZ team, Kenyon comes to us directly from the industry we live and breathe, his most recent role being with Griffith University where, as Audio Visual Systems Specialist, he was responsible for the design and implementation of a Standard Operating Environment for teaching spaces that also incorporated deploying RMS. Prior to his time in the University sector Kenyon completed Electronics qualifications and has worked extensively in the Staging and Auidovisual industries in roles as diverse as crew, installer, designer, programmer & manager.

'Kenyon's combination of extensive AMX training, having attended numerous AMXU courses in his time as a programmer, real-world application of the skills developed in these courses and a broad and diverse industry experience make him ideal for the AMX University Manager role', commented Graham Barrett, Marketing & Communications Manager for AMX in Australia & New Zealand. 'Training has always been an enormous part of our support of AMX in AUNZ and Kenyon brings a fresh approach whilst still delivering on all of the ideals we have striven for in the 13-year history of AMX University in this region.

'I'm excited to take on this new challenge with AMX' said Kenyon. 'I'm looking forward to both delivering on the high standard of the past and building on the successes of AMX University into the future.' Kenyon can be contacted at kenyon.page@amxaustralia.com.au.
