The Antex LX Series of PC compatible digital audio cards offers high performance, studio quality audio with simultaneous, multi-track record and play functionality. The Model LX -44 is one of several in this new series of DSP based, half sized PC I cards. It offers four analog inputs plus four output channels, and can simultaneously mix four virtual devices to any output. The LX -44 can record or playback from disk 8 or 16 bit linear PCM digital audio files at sample rates, variable under software control, from 6.25 to 50 kHz. 20 bit A/D and D/A converters afford superior audio quality and signal resolution compared to other 16 and 18 bit sound cards.
