The Taiwan External Trade Development Council has selected ATEN’s CS782DP DisplayPort KVM and VK2100 ATEN Control System Box as 2017 Taiwan Excellence Awards winners, recognizing them for excellence in R&D, design, quality, marketing and manufacturing.

The Taiwan Excellence Award, an official accolade presented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan, is the highest honor available to products that encapsulate the quality of “innovalue.” According to the MOEA, 1,188 products from 518 companies participated in the selection process this year.

“This is exciting news for ATEN. Not only is this the 12th consecutive year that we have won this prestigious award, but it is also a proof of ATEN’s great innovation in the KVM and Pro A/V fields,” said Kevin Chen, President of ATEN International. “It is especially significant this year as there were over 1000 top-tier applicants from across the country.”

The CS782DP is a 2-Port USB DisplayPort KVM Switch featuring up to 4K UHD video resolution, allowing users to access two 4K-enabled computers from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse, and DisplayPort video console – making it perfect for graphic design, animation, and video-editing applications. The VK2100 is the primary hub of the ATEN Control System, where hardware devices are connected to be monitored, managed, and controlled directly via a tailor-made GUI from any iOS, Android, or Windows mobile device. These two solutions are representative of Taiwan’s spirit of excellence, highlighting ATEN’s commitment to leading control room and audiovisual innovation.
