The Audioaccess KP-3 keypad is used exclusively with the PX-603 multiroom expander to provide simple on/off, up/down volume control and a mute function in three rooms linked to a zone. For example, the KP-3 keypad could be used in the sitting room, dressing room and bathroom adjacent to the primary master bedroom zone. In this case, the KP-3 keypad in each of these three areas would track the same audio source as the master bedroom while providing individual on/off control and volume adjustment in each individual area. For additional source-control functions, the KP-3 keypad accept infrared commands from any Audioaccess handheld remote. Just point it at the infrared receiver built into the KP-3.
