Skylight 2 Motorized FlexShade

The Skylight 2 FlexShade is designed specifically for applications where a very large Skylight shade is needed. Skylight 2 is simple and elegant. A tubular gearmotor is mounted at one end of your Skylight 2 FlexShade, connected to the opposite end by steel fabric support cables. Fabric is driven by the motor and draw cables. The included Spring Assist cassette helps provide maximum tension.

Skylight 2 can be installed in several orientations: incline-up, incline-down, vertical-up, vertical-down, or horizontal.

Fabric Attachment
Fabric retainers slide into ¾" pockets at each end of fabric, then fit into roller extrusion and hem bar. Fabric orientation shall always be from the top (back) of roller.

Hardware
513/16" x 513/16" fabric/roller endcaps come complete with motor adapter bracket. White powder coat finish. Draw Cable/Guide Cable brackets are provided with pulley assemblies. Hem Bar provides an attachment point for the shade fabric, with built-in pulley assemblies for routing of Draw Cable.

Guide cables are 3/16" 7x19 strand, galvanized, non-coated steel cable with 3/16" copper Nicopress Stop. Draw Cables are 1/16" O.D., 7x7 strand wire rope. Cables are low-stretch, high-fatigue, and nylon coated.

Horizontal spring steel stays, .005" thick x 1" wide, are installed at regular intervals and covered. This system enables the shade to withstand reasonable air pressure differentials and gravity.
