WAYNE, NJ (May, 2011) – JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., has released the A&E Bid Specifications for its new Super LoLux HD™ line of IP-based V.Networks cameras. Written specifically for architects, engineers, and other consultants, the new specifications detail the features of each model to assist in the preparation of video security project proposals. Bid specifications can be found on the JVC Web site, http://pro.jvc.com.
“The CCTV camera marketplace is crowded and complicated,” said Ian Scott, vice president, JVC Security Group. “With analog and digital camera options, plus new models and features announced regularly, it’s difficult to keep up with the latest offerings. Our new bid specifications will go a long way toward helping architects and engineers realize the unique benefits of JVC’s V.Networks product line.”
The 11 new models in the Super LoLux HD line feature CMOS imagers that can deliver up to 30 fps full frame rate and output full HD resolution. JVC’s cameras support H.264 High Profile, which uses significantly less bandwidth than H.264 Baseline or Main Profile, as well as MPEG-4 and M-JPEG compression. The new cameras match the sensitivity of JVC’s well established CCD-based cameras and deliver superior color reproduction, even in low light.
There are entry-level, intermediate, and advanced models in the product line, with a box style (less lens), indoor mini-dome, and outdoor dome camera available at each level. Entry-level models provide 720p resolution, while intermediate and advanced models produce full 1080p images. Other features include motion detection, on-board recording to SD card, and new Clear Logic Video Intelligence (CLVI) image processing, which compensates for back lighting and digitally removes atmospheric conditions such as fog, rain, or smoke.
