A video stream can be delivered through several paths, be it via satellite, high-capacity fibre or an unmanaged network such as the internet. When sending video across an unmanaged network as packets, they can arrive in the wrong order, or go missing altogether, leading to a loss in picture and/or picture quality. There’s nothing worse than when the dreaded ‘frozen’ image strikes in a video stream, which can turn audiences away in droves. So, how can we avoid that?
